Who we are

Aster National Insurance Group, LLC, doing business as Aster Insurance Center (California insurance license #0N10039), 1740 E Huntington Dr, Suite 201, Duarte, CA 91010. Phone (877) 940-4313.

What we collect

  • Your license record: the CSLB license number you enter and the public CSLB record for it (business name, status, classifications, address).
  • Contact details: your name, mobile number and email.
  • Business answers: your trade(s), work mix (homes vs. businesses, new construction), sales, payroll, subcontractor costs, employees and owners in the field, years of experience and in business, claims history, current insurance, requested start date and any notes you type.
  • Consent record: the exact words you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and browser type.
  • Your choice: the quote you select.
  • Device and advertising data: cookies and similar identifiers set by us, Google, Meta and Microsoft, the ad you clicked to get here (click IDs and campaign tags), pages you view on this site, your IP address and browser type.

Why we use it

  • To request the general liability quotes you asked for from insurance programs and show them to you.
  • To email and text you about this request, including the link to your quotes.
  • To prepare the documents for the quote you choose, and to keep the records the law requires of insurance agencies.
  • Marketing calls and texts only if you checked the optional box. That consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • To measure and improve our advertising: which ads bring contractors to this site and which of them ask for a quote.

Who we share it with

We share your information with the insurance companies, wholesalers and program administrators that price your quote, and with the service providers that host this site and run our customer records and messaging, under contract. We share it with regulators or others when the law requires.

Advertising partners. This site uses advertising tags from Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager), Meta (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API) and Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising UET and its Conversions API). They receive device and advertising data from your browser, and when you ask for a quote we send them the steps you complete with your email and mobile number in hashed (scrambled) form so they can match the visit to an ad. California law may treat this as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Do not sell or share page, and we honor Global Privacy Control. We never give these partners your license number, business answers or the link to your quotes.

AI assistants. If you tap "Quote in Claude", "Quote in ChatGPT" or "Quote in Grok", that assistant opens in your own account with Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI. It reads your license check from this site, and what you type in that chat is handled under that company's own privacy policy, not this one. We do not see the chat. When you open the link it hands back, your answers come to this site and are treated under this policy. When you tap the button we save the advertising source of your visit (the ad you came from, never your name or contact details) under a random code in that link, so the quote is credited to the right ad if you finish in another browser.

How long we keep it

We keep this information while your request is open and then for as long as California law requires insurance agencies to keep records of quotes and policies.

Your California privacy rights

California residents can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about them, and can opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising on our Do not sell or share page. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, call (877) 940-4313 or write to us at 1740 E Huntington Dr, Suite 201, Duarte, CA 91010. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission.

We collect this information from you and from the public CSLB license record. We do not collect sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16. In the past 12 months we disclosed the categories above only to the recipients listed under "Who we share it with"; device and advertising data, and hashed contact details, went to the advertising partners named there. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request, and the site shows "Opt-out request honored" when it receives one.
